ARTIST BIO

Melbourne based artist Celeste Perry has been practicing for as long as she can remember. She lives and works on the unceded land of the Boonwurrung and Woiworung, and is currently obtaining her bachelor of Fine Arts there.

Perry describes her practice as exploring what it means to be human, whether in be through confessional style works or the breaking down of current culture and social norms. She ultimatly aims to prompt critical thinking, but finds herself satisfied with any sort of response, particularly laughter.
